Definition of faasiq:

Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah rule upon him that he is indeed a believer deficient in his Imaan or a believer in his Imaan disobedient due to his kabeerah [major sin] and counted amongst the believers and from amongst the people of Tawheed when he does not posses a quality from amongst the qualities of shirk which exits a person from the Millah [deen] then that which remains with him in name is Al-Imaan and Al-Islaam, so that he remains Muslim except that he is deficient in his Imaan.

It is amazing how this woman, Azalina Othman, could proudly display her faasiq nature and get away with this pronouncement:

Malaysia’s sports minister, a Muslim woman with a martial-arts black-belt, likes to lead by example: she does not wear a headscarf and insists that Muslim sportswomen do not have to cover up either. Azalina Othman Said, 43, believes women offer the best chance of glory for a modern Muslim nation hungry for sporting success - but in trying to encourage more girls to take up sports, she is quietly holding the line against conservative Islam.

Wearing a tracksuit-top and pants, Azalina told Reuters in an interview in her office on Tuesday that Muslim sportswomen were free here to dress just like their non-Muslim rivals, whether in the pool, on the diving board or in the gymnastics arena.

“It’s never become an issue in Malaysia,” she said, declaring that women of all ages should, and do, feel free in this country to “wear shorts and jump around”. “I mean we have Muslim gymnasts wearing tights and it’s never crossed anyone’s mind about how athletes are dressed. I am quite thankful that the people of Malaysia are still open-minded.”

Stupid, stupid, stupid. Stupid, silly BS (pardon my un-ladylike language, liberal extremists always have the knack of pissing The Islamoholic off).

I wonder why are they making so much fuss about Sharifah Amani’s act of sin and all sorts of noises criticising the Muslim scholars who was doing their duty in giving advice to the actress in question.

After all, its not their hair that is being shaved off. Its not them that the muftis are criticising.

Their (lack of) knowledge about religion is so laughable, that one might be implored to ask: who died and appointed them as spokesperson of Islam? Who are they compared to the learned Muftis in their field? If you want engineering advice, you go to an engineer. If you want medical advice, you go to a doctor.

It thus leaves little to imagination to whom you go to when you want to ask for Islamic advice.

You have confusions with my gender, liberal. But I am sure it would be fun to “stalk” you if only I were to turn into a lesbian (which would be like….never).

Intentionally engaging in straw man? I doubt that was the case. You sure were in ecstasy when you tried to “exploit” a loophole in my logic and then try to equate the premise of “ethical humans” with those “happily married men who bonk their children” (your words, not mine).

Of course, it did not cross your mind at the time that those who commited incest were probably “not happily married” in the first place, did you?
